My biggest and most important accomplishment in 2008 was that I quit smoking... I did a lot of snazzy stuff but quitting smoking was definitely the cat's pajamas! So, with that taken care of, it's time to make my '09 resolution. I could use to lose about 20 pounds but, not owning a scale and not planning to purchase one, my resolution is to just be healthier. I work better with specific goals so here they are in all of their glory...
+ Lay off the Mt. Dew, fool! Nix it, add water, shake gently, serve over ice, and repeat.
+ More veggies... vomitrocious but necessary.
+ More fruit... alright, we're getting better.
+ Less red meat... GAH!! NOOOOoooOOoooOoOOo! *falls to knees* Actually, this needed to be done anyways because it makes me sick. But it's SO delicious!! *defeated sigh*
+ Move more. Notice I didn't use the "e" word. I may start jogging/running in the warmer months but for now, I'm just moving more.
So there you have it... this time next year, I won't have any resolutions to make! Maybe I'll pick up a nasty coke habit in October just to have a resolution.
